My Experience with Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance Brightening Day Protection Cream SPF 15

Packaging, Texture, and Consistency

This Cetaphil Brightening day cream SPF 15 comes in white tub packaging in a carton box, containing all the information regarding this product like ingredients and all.

It has a creamy white texture with a normal consistency which is easy to apply evenly on face, and the fragrance of this brightening day cream is mild but has a chemical tint. (Of course, it has a lot of chemicals. Not impressed!!!)

Also it claims that the cream is non-greasy but trust me guys it’s full on greasy.

Efficacy and Result

I used this Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance Brightening Day Protection Cream SPF 15 for , not more than 4-5 days after using Cetaphil Toner from the same range, and guess what? It caused me acnes, Like, a lot of acnes.

Not in my entire life a skincare product had caused me acnes or even a single pimple. My skin is combination type and thanks to Cetaphil Brightening Day cream, from now on, my skin has become acne prone.

It says that this Cetaphil day cream is for uneven skin tone of face, but I cannot prove it now as it caused me acne breakouts, and eventually, I had to stop using it.

It is also greasy on skin, so oily, acne prone and combination skin types should not use this Brightening cream.

I was so disappointed by this Cetaphil Brightening day cream that I cannot even ask someone else to have it and try it out. The only thing left for me to do is throwing this full pack away, (or may be using this one as a hand cream!).

Side-effects of Cetaphil Brightening Day Cream

Greasy and causes acne breakouts. When you buy such an expensive product and it does not even work, how would you feel? (Tell me in the comment section below).

Do I recommend this Cetaphil Cream?

Absolutely Not, especially for oily, acne prone and combination skin types, but its totally your call.

Conclusion and Final Thoughts

Based on my personal experience, I absolutely do not recommend giving Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance Brightening Day Protection Cream SPF 15 a try, as I don’t think it is a gentle on the skin, and it is greasy and gave me a lot of acnes, now my skin has become sensitive. Not to mention it cost me ₹990 for 50 gms, and for what?? Acnes and Greasy creames!!

Also, I would like to mention that, it is not necessary that an expensive and known brand won’t do anything bad to your skin and it also not necessary that a budget-friendly and desi product won’t be good and as effective as luxurious brands. Totally your call, but be safe guys.
