My Review of Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer

I bought Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer two months ago along with The Moms Co Natural Vita Rich Face Cream. It was too hot here. My skin gets all sweaty and oily.

While the latter one is also great, Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer ‘s ingredients cought my attention.

So I am using it for more than two weeks.

Lets review this plum green tea moisturizer from beginning.

Packaging

I have got plum green tea moisturizer in a mini pack. It is a tube packing with off white color and a bit of green. I loved its cute, but still simple packing. It also available in bottle packing providing 50 ml of product.

But I have a combination skin. And it is difficult to find a best moisturizer for combination skin. So I always order a mini pack. But this time I was lucky.

It is light weight and travel friendly.

Texture and Consistency

The texture of Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer is creamy and its consistency is a more runny than thick but not too runny.

Which is a good thing because it gets absorbs into the skin in a couple of seconds.

Fragrance

It has a mild herbal fragrance which is not at all overwhelming and soon fades away as you apply it. In fact, the smell of this green tea moisturizer is refreshing and soothing.

The product is so light on the skin that it quickly gets absorbed as I applied. My skin felt soft, sooth and hydrating immediately.

The hero ingredient- green tea extract present in it has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which has anti aging impact on the skin.

As I sweat a lot, Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer helps up to a couple of hours. But it works only for the time If I am present in AC or a cool environment. But when I am out in sun or a room with more temperature than normal, I again start to sweat, unfortunately, Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer doesn’t help me there.

It stays matte in normal temperature. I will give it 4 stars for to Plum as it proves its claim as being Mattifying Moisturizer.

Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer also claims to combat acne problems. But I normally get acnes due to hormonal imbalance and poor diet. So I cannot say that it proves to be right or wrong in that matter. Currently I am not facing any acne problems so it can be said that at least it doesn’t cause breakouts.

Price

INR 450 for 50ml

Availability

Other products from Plum Green Tea Range

Green Tea Alcohol-Free Toner, Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash & Green Tea Clear Face Mask.

My Final Verdict

People with normal/combination/oily skin may have better experience with plum green tea moisturizer. It was good for me too but due to excess sweating, I have hard time using it in super hot weather. As it feels like there is an extra light layer on your face stopping sweat to come out.

I think it is better when weather is not so hot. And with no sweating problem.

Recommendation

Best Moisturizer for Normal/Oily/combination skin.

Isn’t for- Dry and sweating skin.
